“The ambiguity of the word TRANSTORNO was our starting point for mirroring the opposition contained in every truth spoken, the duality in every word attributed.” Says the duo MxM.
In this work Mirella Brandi x Muep Etmo - position themselves at the center of an arena carefully set up. Although the audience are plunged in the same immersive environment, every one will connect differently with the experience while the perception of this unknown environment happens deeply in our imagination by interfering and transforming the whole room with a “pure light and sound” narrative.
By this means, MXM engages audiences in a maze of distinct and ambiguous sensations. An amplified sensory experience that questions what we understand as truth and, consequently, what can be perceived as reality.
