Espetáculo de dança contemporânea que envolve o público num ambiente imersivo de luz e som, para criar narrativas subjetivas que se estabelecem na percepção do espectador.
Corpo, imagem e som produzem um labirinto audiovisual que aos poucos transporta o público para dentro de uma mente (e um corpo) em estado de fobia. FFOBIA SETOR re ete fobias especí cas do homem urbano contemporâneo imerso em um novo universo múltiplo e complexo que o transforma constantemente e produz a cada dia, novos transtornos fóbico-ansiosos. Transtornos cada vez mais comuns que abrem um novo panorama no período histórico em que vivemos.
O espetáculo tem início e conclusão em um espaço imersivo, de entrega a experiência sensorial de determinados medos que paralisam a sucessiva maratona de emoções resgatadas por formas e sons, que se estabelecem de modo etéreo pelo espaço e o transformam constantemente. A memória química do corpo, a sonoridade viva, a relação da luz e o tempo de impressão das imagens no corpo. É neste tempo de decantação que o espectador, assim como no cinema, tem uma experiência individual para concluir e se deixar levar por um “black out”, onde a lembrança ca gravada na retina ocular.
Um roteiro coreográ co desenha essa partitura de sensações que se conclui no espectador e o transforma na personagem central desta trama. O corpo em cena é constantemente alterado por estímulos externos e internos, a trilha sonora é sentida no corpo do espectador e a luz revela a imagem do nosso inconsciente. Uma percepção que situa o espaço entre o real e o imaginário, entre o consciente e o inconsciente.

FFOBIA SETOR is a contemporary dance performance that involves the audience in an immersive environment of light and sound to create subjective narratives that are to be de ned in the viewer’s perception.
Body, image and sound produce an audiovisual labyrinth that slowly transports the audience inside a phobic mind (and body). FFOBIA SETOR re ects speci c phobias of contemporary urban man as people are immersed in a new and complex universe that constantly transforms them, producing new phobic-anxious disorders. As these disorders are becoming increasingly more common, this opens a new perspective into the historical period in which we live.
The performance begins and ends in an immersive space that induces the spectator to surrender to the sensorial experience of fears that paralyze the marathon of emotions. The forms and sounds ethereally settled in the space rescue those emotions through the body’s chemical memory, the living soundscape, the relationship between light and the time it takes to imprint images in the body. It is in this time of decanting that the spectator, like it happens in cinema, has an individual experience as he/she is driven by a black out, when memory is engraved in the retina.
A scripted choreography outlines a musical score of sensations that concludes in the spectator and makes him/her the central character of this plot. The onstage body is constantly altered by external and internal stimuli; the soundtrack is felt in the body of the spectator and the light reveals the image of our unconscious mind, a perception that locates the space between what’s real and imaginary, between the conscious and the unconscious minds.
This process brings together concepts of contemporary dance, expanded cinema, performance theater and visual arts, creating interdependence among different languages and comprehending the public as a source of narrative. They become a porous body not de ned as the central object of the scene, but as an integral part of a wide, continually changing process. The result is a mutable and hybrid body that re ects states of the world in which we live.
