Mirella Brandi é artista multimidia e designer de luz e Muepetmo é músico, compositor e engenheiro de som. Juntos, exploram através da imagem e do som, sua capacidade narrativa e de transformação perceptiva em instalações e performances imersivas, desde 2006.
A dupla utiliza os princípios que regem a arte performativa, o cinema expandido e as instalações imersivas nas artes visuais e os transformam em uma narrativa de imersão. A luz e musica como linguagem autonoma na construção de ambientes imersivos que alteram a percepcao, geram novas conexões e deslocam nosso olhar sobre o que entendemos como realidade.

Mirella Brandi is multimedia artist and lighting designer and Muepetmo is a musician, composer and sound engineer. Together since 2006, they explore the narrative capacity as well as the perceptual transformation of light and sound in installations and immersive performances.
The duo makes use oft he principles of performative art, expanded cinema and immersive installations, and transforms them in an immersive narrative. Light and sound as autonomous languages which construct immersive environments that alters the perception, create new connections and move our perspective on what we understand as reality.
They have attended a number of festivals: Tangente in Montreal-Canada; C60Urban Solar Audio Plant in Berlin; Monkeytown in NY; LPM in Rome; the Rojo New Con- temporary Culture in Barcelona, SP and RJ; the Festival de Arte Eletrônica Vídeo Brasil (Video Brazil Electronic Art Festival); the On-Off Festival; the Exibition Cinético Digital at Itaú Cultural; Live Cinema in Rio de Janeiro; the Virada Cultural SP 10 years; the Digital Art FAD-Festival of Belo Horizonte; Acker Stadt Palast Berlin and Ehe- maliges Stumm lmkino Delphi- Berlin.
